Julie had a challenging remodel. She wanted to update a 14-year-old home in Bozeman but didn’t live there at the time.
Julie lived in Seattle when she began her remodeling project. “I wanted to update the kitchen in the 2003 ‘builder’s special’ home with better trim and cabinets,” said Julie. She began her project in July of 2017. When her general contractor recommended Davis Cabinetry, Julie went to the internet to do some online research. She didn’t consider any other cabinet shops because Davis Cabinetry had so many good reviews from satisfied customers, and offered excellent cabinet brands.
Turning an Idea Book into a Kitchen Look
Already prepared with her “idea book”, and knowing she wanted a vintage farmhouse look, Julie contacted Davis Cabinetry’s owner, Arlie Naeher, to begin making her cabinet selections. They talked about everything from inset cabinets, custom colors, specialty finishes, and corbel styles, to the best way to address the existing kitchen island.
“Davis Cabinetry was the highlight of our challenging remodel project–it went very smoothly,” said Julie. Arlie reviewed Julie’s budget and developed an understanding of her vision. He suggested options, including cabinet interior features Julie had not seen before or considered. She said, “Arlie even helped me with the countertops in the kitchen and master bath! We worked on the design for the bathroom vanity completely via email.” It was clear that Julie valued their ability to be flexible and work with her on her long-distance project.
“My kitchen looks fabulous!” Julie says. “Arlie was a good listener and understood my budget and vision. He was very responsive and great at letting me know just what to expect.” Arlie wasn’t the only one at Davis Cabinetry to step up and help Julie’s project come to life. “Becky dropped everything to help whenever I needed it. She was super positive and helpful.”
Julie’s project was completed in November of 2017, and was on time and within her budget. Even if your project isn’t that complex, we’d love to speak with you. Contact us here.
